1 pound trimmed fresh asparagus
3 peeled whole garlic cloves
3 tbsp. softened butter
3 tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
Place asparagus and garlic in the center of a large piece of foil and top with butter.
Curve the edges of foil slightly to avoid the leakage of butter.
In the bottom of Instant Pot, arrange a steamer basket and pour 1 cup of water.
Place the asparagus into the steamer basket.
Secure the lid and place the pressure valve to “Seal” position.
Select the “Steam” and just use the default time of 8 minutes.
Select the “Cancel” and carefully do a “Quick” release.
Remove the lid and transfer asparagus onto serving plates.
Sprinkle with Parmesan and serve.
