Ingredients
• 1 cup macadamia nuts, chopped
• 1/2 cup cacao powder
• 2 cups almond flour
• 1/2 cup ground flax
• 3 Tbsp coconut oil (melted)
• 1/3 cup Stevia or natural sweetener of your choice
• 1/3 cup water
• 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Preparation
1. In a bowl, mix almond flour, flax and cacao powder. Stir in oil, water, sweetener and vanilla. When it is well mixed, stir in chopped hazelnuts.
2. Form the mixture into balls, press flat with palms and place on dehydrator screens.
3. Dehydrate 1 hour at 145, then reduce to 116 and dehydrate for at least 5 hours or until desired dryness is achieved.
