prep time: 5 minutes
Who doesnβt love a milkshake? My first job was at Dairy Queen, so I know a thing or two about making milkshakes! You wonβt believe how close this version tastes to a real strawberry milkshake; the cream makes it taste so good.
β’ 4 medium-sized cold or frozen strawberries, plus 1 fresh berry for garnish if desired
β’ ΒΎ cup unsweetened almond milk
β’ ΒΌ cup heavy whipping cream
β’ 1Β½ teaspoons granular erythritol
β’ ΒΌ teaspoon vanilla extract
β’ ΒΌ teaspoon xanthan gum (see Note)
β’ Whipped Cream, for garnish (optional)
1. Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend on high speed until smooth and creamy, about 1 minute.
2. Pour into a 16-ounce glass and serve immediately.
3. Garnish with whipped cream and a strawberry, if desired.
Notes:
If you donβt have xanthan gum, you can leave it out, but it thickens the milkshake and gives it the perfect texture.
