    Pork Shoulder with Sweet Potatoes

    (Total Time: 30 MIN| Serves: 5)

    Ingredients:

    2 lbs pork shoulder, cut into bite-sized pieces

    1 large sweet potato, chopped into bite-sized chunks

    1 cup purple cabbage, shredded

    1 cup cauliflower, chopped into florets

    2 chili peppers, sliced

    4 garlic cloves, whole

    1 celery stalk, chopped

    4 tbsp butter

    Spices:

    2 tsp salt

    1 tsp white pepper, freshly ground

    2 bay leaves, whole

    1 tsp dried thyme

    Directions:

    Place the meat in the pot and pour in enough water to cover. Seal the lid and set the steam release handle. Press the ‘’Meat’’ button.
    When done, perform a quick pressure release and open the lid.
    Now add the remaining ingredients and optionally pour in one more cup of water. Stir well and season with salt, pepper, thyme, and bay leaves.
    Seal the lid again and set the steam release handle to the ‘’Sealing’’ position. Press the ‘’Manual’’ button and set the timer for 7 minutes on high pressure.
    When you hear the cooker’s end singnal, release the pressure naturally for 10-15 minutes and then carefully open the lid.
    Serve immediately.
