Tomato Rasam

(Total Time: 60 MIN| Serves: 5)


1 lb beef stew meat

2 large tomatoes, chopped

2 red chilies, finely chopped

1 small onion, finely chopped

4 tbsp ghee

2 garlic cloves, crushed

5 cups vegetable stock


2 tsp salt

2 tsp stevia powder

2 tsp turmeric powder

2 tsp hing

2 tsp mustard seeds

2 tsp coriander powder

2 tbsp chili powder


Plug in the instant pot and pour in the stock. Add tomatoes, onions, and chili peppers. Stir well and press the ‘’Sauté’’ button. Bring it to a boil and gently simmer for 15 minutes.
Now stir in the meat and season with all spices. Add the remaining ingredients and stir well.
Seal the lid and set the steam release handle to the ‘’Sealing’’ position. Press the ‘’Manual’’ button and set the timer for 40 minutes on high pressure.
When done, release the pressure naturally and open the lid. Stir well again and serve immediately.
