    Flavorsome Bacon Chili

    (Total Time: 1 HOUR| Serves: 4)

    Ingredients:

    4 chopped bacon slices

    1 seeded and chopped red bell pepper

    ½ of chopped small yellow onion

    2 minced garlic cloves

    1 pound grass-fed ground beef

    1½ tbsp. red chili powder

    1 tbsp. smoked paprika

    2 tsp ground cumin

    Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

    1 (14-ounce) can sugar-free fire roasted tomatoes

    2-ounce sugar-free tomato sauce

    ¼ cup sour cream

    Directions:

    Place the bacon in the Instant Pot and select “Sauté”. Cook for about 4-5 minutes or until crisp.
    With a slotted spoon, transfer bacon onto a paper towel-lined plate, leaving 2 tbsp. of grease in the pot.
    Add bell peppers, onion and garlic and cook for about 5 minutes.
    Add beef and spices and cook for about 5 minutes.
    Select the “Cancel” and stir in cooked bacon, tomatoes and tomato sauce.
    Secure the lid and select “Bean/Chili” and just use the default time of 30 minutes.
    Select the “Cancel” and carefully do a “Natural” release.
    Remove the lid and serve hot with the topping of sour cream.
