    Tomato Onion Sauce

    (Total Time: 20 MIN| Serves: 8)

    Ingredients:

    2 large tomatoes, roughly chopped

    1 cup tomato sauce, sugar-free

    2 onions, chopped

    2 garlic cloves, crushed

    2 tbsp tomato paste

    3 tbsp olive oil

    Spices:

    2 tsp stevia powder

    ½ tsp dried thyme

    1 tsp salt

    Directions:

    Heat up the oil on the ‘’Saute’’ mode. Add onions and garlic and sauté for 3-4 minutes.
    Then add tomatoes and seasn with stevia, salt, and dried thyme. Pour in about ¼ cup of water and simmer until tomatoes have softened and most of the liquid has evaporated.
    Stir in tomato paste and add tomato sauce. Give it a good stir and continue to cook for a couple of minutes more. Optionally, season with some more salt, thyme, or some other herbs of choice.
