SLOW COOKER SIZE: LARGE
2 tablespoons olive oil
6 sweet yellow onions, thinly sliced
4 tablespoons butter
Salt and pepper
1.Rub the sides and bottom of the stoneware with the olive oil. Place the onions in the slow cooker. Dot with the butter.
2.Cover and cook on High for 5 to 7 hours, or until the onions are caramelized. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
