Ingredients:
• Pepper and salt as desired
• 3 cans whole clams (19.5 oz)
• 2 cups chicken broth
• About 2.5 tbsp thyme
• 1 big chopped onion
• 2 cups heavy cream
• About 3.5 cups chopped celery
• 1 lb bacon, chopped finely
Directions:
- First of all, please make sure you have all the ingredients available. Now please cook the chopped bacon in the bottom of the crockpot.
- Now brown the onion & celery in the grease.
- This step is important. Place the rest of the ingredients into the crockpot
- Then put the lid on the crockpot & adjust the heat setting to low.
- One thing remains to be done now. Leave on low to simmer for 6 hours.
- Finally serve.
