Sweet and savory flavors blend together well in a mini-casserole style dish served with a side of vanilla ice cream.
40 g 40% heavy cream, whipped
3–5 drops of vanilla flavor, Bickford
18.5 g ground pork, cooked
14 g macadamia nuts, crushed
11 g European-style butter
5 g cheese, Kraft Cheddar, block style, then grated
2 g calorie-free sweetener, Truvia
3–5 drops of maple flavor, Bickford
After measuring all ingredients on a gram scale, mix the whipped cream with the vanilla flavor and half of the allotted Truvia. Freeze for 15 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 350°F. In an oven-safe dish, mix the pork, macadamia nuts, butter, cheese, remaining Truvia, maple flavor, and optional salt/pepper. Bake for 15 minutes to warm the ingredients through.
Serve with the frozen whipped cream as “ice cream.”
