A delicious savory combination with strong flavors! If you are cooking for a crowd, the broccoli and melted blue cheese makes a great side dish for the rest of the family.

50 g 40% heavy cream

24 g broccoli, cooked

12 g bacon, Smithfield, no sugar added, cooked, crumbled

11 g olive oil

10 g blue cheese, crumbled

Optional: salt/pepper

After measuring all ingredients on a gram scale, combine half of the heavy cream with the broccoli, crumbled bacon, olive oil, and blue cheese in a microwavable bowl. Heat in the microwave until the cheese has melted and is warmed through, in 30-second intervals. Stir to combine the cream, oil, and cheese to create the sauce. Add the salt and pepper if desired.

Notes: You can easily replace the bacon with grilled beef tenderloin in this recipe, and you will need to recalculate the recipe to increase the meat and fat if you use a lean cut.

Serve some of the oil on the side if preferred.
