Ingredients
1⅓ cups coconut flour
3 tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. ground sage, dried
½ tsp. salt
¼ tsp. garlic powder
2 cups canned coconut milk
½ cup water
2 eggs
3 tbsp. coconut oil, melted
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
Directions
- Mix the flour, baking powder and seasonings together in a bowl.
- Add the coconut milk, water and coconut oil and beat them until they form a stiff batter.
- Combine with the cheese.
- Grease and heat the waffle iron, and pour onto each iron section⅓ cup of the batter.
- Close the iron until the waffles are browned.
