A delicious Asian dinner option with a sumptuous sweet and spicy sauce. This one is guaranteed to be a winner on weekends.

Ingredients
½ tsp. peppercorns
1 medium star anise
1 stalk lemongrass
4 halved garlic cloves
4 pork chops (boneless)
1 tbsp. fish sauce
1 tbsp. almond flour
1½ tsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. sesame oil
½ tsp. five spice
½ tbsp. sambal chili paste
½ tbsp. sugar free ketchup
Directions
- Pulverize the peppercorn and star anise (using blender or a mortar).
- Mix the lemongrass with garlic, fish sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil and five spice powder. Add the powdered peppercorn and star anise. Blend in a food processor until combined.
- Set the pork on a tray and cover with the mixture on both sides. Cover the tray and marinate for 1-2 hours.
- Lightly cover each pork chop with almond flour, and pan-fry them at a high temperature. Sear the outsides. Make sure they are done on both sides.
- Remove and chop into strips.
- Mix the sambal chili paste and sugar-free ketchup to make the dipping sauce, and serve.
