A Chinese style recipe. It has all the nutrients needed for your keto diet and will be a frequent dinner on your table.

Ingredients
1 lb. pork hock
¼ cup rice vinegar
⅓ cup soy sauce
⅓ cup shaoxing cooking wine
¼ cup sweetener
⅓ onion
1 tbsp. butter
Shiitake mushrooms
1 tsp. Chinese five-spice
1 tsp. oregano
2 crushed garlic cloves
Directions
- Fry the onions in a frying pan until semi-transparent. Meanwhile, boil the mushrooms until tender.
- In a third pan, sear the pork hock until browned on all sides.
- After a few minutes, add all the ingredients in a Crock-Pot and cook for 2 hours on a high heat. Stir, then cook for 2 further hours.
- Remove the pork and bone it. Slice it and put it back to the pot so that it absorbs more flavor.
- Serve with the vegetables.
