    Meatballs with Bacon and Cheese

    Take meatballs to the next level. These are juicy and taste great. An especially awesome option when you have people over!

    Serves 5

    Ingredients

    1½ lb. ground beef

    ¾ cup pork rinds, crushed

    ¾ tsp. salt

    ¾ tsp. pepper

    ¾ tsp. cumin

    ¾ tsp. garlic powder

    ¾ cup cheddar cheese

    4 slices bacon

    1 egg

    Directions

    1. Process the pork rinds to make a powder.
    2. Mix the ground beef, pork rinds, salt, pepper, cumin and garlic powder. Add the cheese and mix well.
    3. Cut the bacon into small pieces and fry them in a hot pan until they reach the desired doneness. Let them cool. Add the bacon to the meat and combine well.
    4. Form the meatballs.
    5. Cook the meatballs in a pan, browning them on all sides, then cover with a lid for 10 minutes. When finished, let them sit for 5 minutes or so before enjoying. Top with the sauce of your choice.
