    Cheddar Biscuits

    We adore our cheddar biscuits. Stuff them with your favorite fillings, or have them as a side to your favorite dinner dish.

    Serves 1

    Ingredients

    2 cups Carbquik

    2 oz. unsalted butter, cold

    4 oz. shredded cheddar cheese

    ½ tsp. garlic powder

    ½ tsp. salt

    ¼ cup heavy cream

    ¼ cup water

    Directions

    1. In a bowl, mix Carbquik and add the cold butter. Cut in the pieces of butter until the mixture has little balls of butter and flour about the size of peas. Add the cheese, garlic powder and salt and combine together.
    2. Add the heavy cream and water. Mix until a dough forms. Separate them into 6 pieces and place on a greased sheet. Bake them at 450°F for about 8-10 minutes.
