    Egg and Sausage Burger

    Serves: 4

    Preparation time: 25 minutes

    Ingredients:

    1 pound pork breakfast sausage meat
    4 large fresh farm eggs
    2 tbsp. olive oil
    2 tsp. fresh herbs of your choice
    Salt and Pepper
    Hot chili sauce (optional)
    Preparation: In a small bowl mix the sausage meat with the herbs and season to taste. Divide the sausage into 8 portions and flatten into a patty. Heat olive oil and fry the patty on both sides until evenly cooked. Remove and drain excess grease. Fry the eggs either sunny side up or scrambled and serve between the sausage patties which serve as the bun.

    Serving Suggestion: If you want a breakfast with a kick, top the burger with a bit of the optional chili sauce.
