Stuffed Mushroom Snack or Appetizer

    Serves: 4

    Preparation time: 20 minutes


    20 small mushrooms
    2 cups of canned crab, tuna or salmon
    3 tbsp. finely snipped chives
    3 cloves of garlic crushed
    1 tsp. finely chopped thyme
    1 tbsp. mayonnaise
    Salt and pepper to taste
    Preparation: Clean the mushrooms gently and remove the stalks and ribs. Pre-heat the oven to 375°F and lay the mushrooms on the baking sheet, top down. Drain fish or crab and mix it together in a bowl with garlic and herbs. Add the mayonnaise to moisten and season with salt and pepper to taste. Fill the mushroom caps generously and bake for 13 minutes.

    Serving Suggestion: Consider serving these hot as the taste will be irresistible.
