    LEFTOVER BREAKFAST BOWL

    This is more of a concept than an actual recipe. I frequently post big bowls of random food on my Instagram, and the response is always “Recipe?” I never considered that people might want a recipe simply comprised of leftovers and other colorful foods all thrown into a bowl together. So this recipe was born from that. It’s a great way to combine leftovers you may have from making various recipes in this book. The other great thing about it is that you can use any meat and vegetables you want, store-bought or from this book. Get creative with the sauces, dips, and dressings in your fridge, too.

    INGREDIENTS

    • 1 cup mixed salad greens

    • 2 Blueberry Maple Breakfast Sausage patties (here), warmed

    • 1 large egg, cooked to your liking

    • 6 slices Pickled Red Onions (here)

    • ½ small avocado, peeled and pitted

    • 1 teaspoon Everything Bagel Seasoning (here)

    • ¼ cup Garlic Dill Sauerkraut (here)

    • 2 tablespoons roasted red peppers

    • 2 tablespoons pitted green olives

    • 2 tablespoons halved Kalamata olives

    DIRECTIONS

    Plate the salad greens in a large salad bowl and pile the rest of the ingredients on top.
