CAESAR DRESSING

MAKES: 1¼ cups (2 tablespoons per serving) · PREP TIME: 10 minutes

Extra creamy and bursting with savory flavors, this homemade Caesar dressing tastes far better than any variety you might find at your local grocery store, and it is a lot healthier for you, too. Have you ever read the ingredient list on a bottle of store-bought salad dressing? It can be pretty scary.

INGREDIENTS

•1 cup mayonnaise, store-bought or homemade

•2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

•4 cloves garlic, minced

•3 anchovy fillets, minced

•1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

•1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

•½ teaspoon sea salt

•½ teaspoon ground black pepper

DIRECTIONS

Put all the ingredients in a small mixing bowl and whisk to combine. Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.

tips: For a cheesier taste, add 2 teaspoons of nutritional yeast.

If you aren’t avoiding dairy, add ¼ cup of freshly grated Parmesan cheese to this dressing to elevate it to the next level.
