Aioli is one of my favorite condiments ever. It is so fresh and bright tasting. The punch of raw garlic is what gives aioli its signature flavor. But the reason I love it so much is that it is incredibly versatile. It is so good with seafood, as a sandwich spread, with eggs, on steak, on roasted vegetables—you name it! Better yet, it uses such simple ingredients that you likely already have everything that you need to make it. For this version, I take things to the next level by adding Everything Bagel Seasoning.
•1 cup mayonnaise, store-bought or homemade (here)
•4 cloves garlic, minced
•2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
•2 tablespoons Everything Bagel Seasoning (here)
Put all the ingredients in a bowl and mix until well combined. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to come together. Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
tip: If you do not want to make your own bagel seasoning, most stores now carry a premade version in the spice aisle.
