EVERYDAY SEASONING BLEND

I keep a batch of this blend on hand at all times. It is my go-to seasoning for everything from seafood to beef. I remember growing up, we always had a jar of Johnny’s Seasoning Salt in the pantry. I seasoned everything with it. These days, I prefer to make my own blends. This one is perfect for those hectic weeknights when you want to cook something flavorful but are short on time. Just pick your protein and season away.

INGREDIENTS

•2 tablespoons garlic powder

•2 tablespoons onion powder

•1 tablespoon sea salt

•2 teaspoons ground black pepper

•1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

DIRECTIONS

Mix all the ingredients together and store in an airtight container or spice jar. Shake well before using.
