Coconut and Almond Bread

    Impressively you may find it difficult to tell the difference between this natural bread and the one you are accustomed to and used to purchase from the shops regularly. It is excellent for toast or sandwiches. Try it with an egg on top to get you fired up for the day!


    • 1 ½ Cups almond flour
    • 2 tbsp coconut flour
    • ¼ cup flaxseed meal
    • Pinch of salt
    • 1 ½ tsp baking soda
    • 5 eggs
    • ¼ cup coconut oil
    • 1 tsp sweetener
    • 1 tbsp cider vinegar

    1. Mix the almond flour, coconut flour, flax, salt and the baking soda in a bowl. You can even do this bit in a food processor. Once all the ingredients are merged add the vinegar, eggs and oil and continue mixing.
    2. Then pour the mix into a prepared loaf tin and cook for thirty minutes on 350 Fahrenheit. It is ready as soon as it has left the oven.


    Assuming you cut this into eight slices each one will have approximately 267 calories, 3g net carbs, 24g fat and 9g protein.
