Ingredients
• 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
• 8 oz. sharp cheddar cheese
• 8 slices bacon
• 4 oz. sliced jalapeno peppers
• 1 tsp. garlic powder
• Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
1. Preheat the oven at around 3500F. Ensure to season both sides of chicken breast well with salt, garlic powder, and pepper.
2. Place the chicken breast on a non-stick baking sheet (foil-covered). Cover the chicken with cheese and add jalapeno slices.
3. Cut the bacon slices in half and then place the four halves over each piece of chicken.
4. Bake for around 30 to 45 minutes at most. If the chicken is set but the bacon still feels undercooked, you may want to put it under the broiler for a few minutes.
5. Once done, serve hot with a side of low carb garlic parmesan roasted asparagus.
