Bell Pepper Basil Pizza
Who doesn’t love pizza? This perfect recipe lets you satisfy your taste buds while still sticking to the diet.
Ingredients
The pizza base
• ½ cup of almond flour
• 1 large egg
• 2 tbsp of parmesan cheese, fresh
• 6 ounces of mozzarella cheese
• 2 tbsp of cream cheese
• 2 tbsp of psyllium husk
• 1 tsp of Italian seasoning
• ½ tsp salt
• ½ tsp pepper
For the toppings
• 2/3 bell pepper, medium
• ¼ cup of marinara sauce
• 4 ounces of cheddar cheese, shredded
• 3 tbsp of chopped basil, fresh
• 1 medium vine tomato
Instructions
• Preheat the oven to 400 °F.
• Microwave the mozzarella cheese for about 45 seconds.
• Now, add all the pizza base ingredients to the melted cheese and mix well.
• Roll out the dough in the shape of a circle.
• Bake it for 10 minutes and then remove from the oven.
• Now, add the toppings and bake it for an additional 10 minutes.
• Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool.
