SLOW COOKER SIZE: LARGE
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 medium onion, chopped
1 pound Italian sausage
1 pound ground beef
4 garlic cloves, minced
2 (28-ounce) cans crushed tomatoes
2 tablespoon dried basil
1 tablespoon minced fresh oregano
1 cup beef broth
½ teaspoon salt
1.Rub the sides and bottom of the stoneware with 1 tablespoon of the olive oil.

3.Heat the remaining tablespoon olive oil in the skillet. Add the sausage and ground beef and cook until browned, stirring to crumble as you cook, 8 to 10 minutes. Pour the cooked meats into the slow cooker along with the remaining ingredients.
