Cider Partridge with Apples
(Total Time: 55 MIN| Serves: 4)
Ingredients:
2 partridges, cleaned and prepared
¼ cup olive oil
1 small onion, finely chopped
¼ cup celery leaves, chopped
1 Alcmene apple, chopped
1 cup apple cider vinegar
2 cups chicken broth
Spices:
1 tsp salt
½ tsp dried thyme
½ tsp dried sage
Directions:
- Grease the bottom of your stainless steel insert with some oil and press the ‘Sauté’ button Add onions and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes. Now add celery and apples. Continue to cook for 5 minutes.
- Meanwhile, rinse the meat under cold running water and rub with thyme and sage. Place in the pot along with apple cider and chicken broth. Seal the lid and set the steam release handle.
- Set the timer for 35 minutes.
- When you hear the cooker’s end signal, perform a quick release and open the lid.
- Serve warm.
