Bacon-Wrapped Spam Bites

Ingredients

  • 16 bacon strips
  • 1 can (12 ounces) reduced-sodium SPAM, cut into 12 cubes
  • 1/3 cup yellow mustard
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 garlic clove

Direction:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°. Cut bacon strips crosswise in half. Fry bacon over moderate heat in a large skillet. Remove to drain to paper towels.
  2. Wrap a piece of bacon around every cube of Spam; secure it with a toothpick. Place in a 15x10x1-in. ungreased baking pan.
  3. Bake for 10 minutes. Mix mustard, syrup, and garlic; drizzle over bacon-wrapped Spam. Bake for 10 minutes.
