Garlic Pork Chops

(Total Time: 25 MIN| Serves: 4)

Ingredients:

2 pork chops, 1-inch thick

1 cup onions, finely chopped

3 garlic cloves, crushed

4 bacon slices, chopped

2 tbsp oil

Spices:

1 tsp salt

1 tsp black pepper, ground

¼ tsp garlic powder

½ tsp dried thyme

Directions:

Plug in the instant pot and press the ‘’Saute’’ button. Grease the inner pot with oil and heat up.
Rub the meat with salt, pepper, garlic and thyme. Set aside.
Add onions and garlic to the pot. Sauté for 2-3 minutes and then add the bacon. Continue to cook for another 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
Now add the seasoned meat and briefly brown for 2 minutes on each side.
Press the ‘’Cancel’’ button and pour in one cup of water. Seal the lid and set the steam release handle to the ‘’Sealing’’ position.
Press the ‘’Manual’’ button and set the timer for 13 minutes.
When done, release the pressure naturally and open the lid.
Optionally, brown the meat in a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat before serving.
