    Simple Boiled Peanuts

    (Total Time: 1½ HOUR| Serves: 6)

    Ingredients:

    1 pound raw peanuts in the shell

    1/3 cup coarse sea salt

    Filtered water, as required

    Directions:

    Rinse the peanuts under cold running water and remove any twigs and roots.
    In the bottom of Instant Pot, place peanuts, salt and enough water to cover the peanuts and stir.
    Place a plate or trivet on top of peanuts.
    Secure the lid and place the pressure valve to “Seal” position.
    Select “Manual” and cook under “High Pressure” for about 80 minutes.
    Select the “Cancel” and carefully do a “Natural” release.
    Remove the lid and keep aside to cool.
    Drain well and serve.
