    BUTTER “CAPPUCCINO”

    PREP TIME: Less than 5 minutes

    MAKES 2 servings

    Butter coffee is an excellent jump start to your day. Blending high-quality, nutrient-rich fats into strong coffee offers sustained energy and keeps you sated for long periods.

    2 cups (480 ml) strong-brewed hot coffee (dark roast works well)

    ¼ cup (60 ml) heavy cream, warmed

    2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened

    Stevia or other low-carb sweetener (optional; we prefer ours unsweetened)

    Ground cinnamon, for garnish

    1. Place all the ingredients in a high-powered blender. (You can use a regular blender to make this, but the coffee won’t be as frothy.)
    2. Blend on high until smooth and frothy, about 1 minute.
    3. Divide the mixture between two 8-ounce (240-ml) mugs, sprinkle each with a pinch of ground cinnamon, and serve immediately.
