This recipe for Cajun Shrimp and Asparagus is the answer to your busy-day prayers. Ingredients

• 1 pound (450g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
• 1 bunch fresh asparagus, tough ends trimmed
• 1 tablespoon (15g) Cajun seasoning
• 1 teaspoon (5ml) olive oil
• 1 cup (240ml) water, for steaming
• Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions

2. Pour 1 cup of water into the inner pot of your Instant Pot and place the steamer rack or trivet inside.
3. Arrange the trimmed asparagus spears in a single, even layer on the rack.
4. Scatter the peeled and deveined shrimp on top of the asparagus.
5. Drizzle everything with olive oil, then sprinkle evenly with the Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
6. Secure the lid and set the steam release valve to the ‘Sealing’ position. Select the ‘Steam’ function and set the timer for 2 minutes.
7. When the timer goes off, perform a quick pressure release by carefully moving the valve to the ‘Venting’ position.
8. Once the pin drops, carefully open the lid. Transfer the shrimp and asparagus to a platter and serve immediately.
