These muffins look like chocolate but they aren’t! And why is that a good thing? Because you can eat them shamelessly. Made with wholesome ingredients, they are perfect for an everyday breakfast.

Ingredients
1 cup golden flaxseed meal
1 tbsp. cinnamon
¼ cup cocoa powder
½ tsp. salt
½ tsp. baking powder
1 egg
2 tbsp. coconut oil
¼ cup sugar-free caramel syrup
½ cup pumpkin purée
1 tbsp. vanilla extract
1 tbsp. apple cider vinegar
¼ cup slivered almonds
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Place all the ingredients except the almonds into a large mixing bowl, and combine well.
- In a lined muffin pan, fill each space, dividing the batter into 6 parts.
- Sprinkle the almonds on top.
- Bake for around 15 minutes.
